Ballina and Boher Tidy Towns

Welcome to Ballina Boher Tidy Towns

A community-led voluntary group dedicated to enhancing and protecting the beauty, biodiversity, and spirit of our twin communities along the banks of the River Shannon.

Our committee is made up of passionate local volunteers who work together to make Ballina and Boher cleaner, greener, more welcoming, and more sustainable for everyone who lives, works, and visits here.

Supporting a Sustainable Community

We are proud participants in the SuperValu TidyTowns Competition, where we continue to build on the achievements of previous years while working towards a more sustainable and environmentally conscious future.

Our goal is not only to improve the appearance of our area, but also to create spaces that support biodiversity, encourage community wellbeing, and protect the natural beauty of the River Shannon for future generations.

Community at the Heart

Community involvement is at the centre of everything we do. Whether it's planting flowers, supporting biodiversity projects, helping at local events, or simply keeping our streets tidy, every contribution makes a real difference.

We believe that small local actions can create lasting positive change — helping to build a vibrant, inclusive, and welcoming community that everyone can be proud of.
